Huawei is working on a cheap Android smartphone with the retractable selfie camera, according to leaked images and specifications of the device. This Huawei P Smart Z may soon be available for purchase.

The Huawei P Smart Z has a 6.6-inch screen with full HD resolution that fills almost the entire front. Only at the bottom is a narrow black bar, according to photos from mobile open. The P Smart Z has no notch or hole for the selfie camera; instead, the device has an extendable lens. As soon as you open the camera app, the 16-megapixel camera slides up.
Huawei has not yet officially confirmed the existence of the new smartphone. However, according to the source, the smartphone will soon be available in the United States at a suggested retail price of 219 euros. An exact release date is still unknown. We do know that the device will appear in three colors: black, green and blue. The back seems to be a combination of matte and glossy glass or metal, compare with the design of the Google Pixel 3 .
The extendable selfie camera is a new trend
It is the first Huawei smartphone with an extendable camera, although the manufacturer follows an emerging manufacturer. Other new smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy A80, OnePlus 7 Pro and the Oppo Reno also have a tilting or extendable selfie camera.
On the back is a dual camera, with a primary camera of 16 megapixels that is supported by a depth sensor of 2 megapixels. With that, you add a bokeh effect to portrait photos. The fingerprint scanner can also be found on the back. At the bottom, you will find a headphone connection.
With a suggested retail price of around 200 euros, the P Smart Z is a very affordable device. Still, the specifications seem pretty impressive. On the inside is a Kirin 710 chipset with 4GB of memory, the same chip that is also in the more expensive P Smart (2019) and P30 Lite. Moreover, the P Smart Z is expected to have a large battery of 4000 mAh, enough for two days without recharging. The storage space is 64GB.
