Huawei’s next flagships will be slightly more expensive than in previous years. The suggested retail prices of the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro have leaked out.
Huawei P30 Pro suggested retail price leaked
The Huawei P30 with 128GB of storage space will cost 749 euros, claims the usually reliable telecom insider Roland Quandt on Twitter. With the Huawei P30 Pro, the starting price is 929 euros for a model with 128GB of storage space. According to Quandt, Huawei also sells a 256 GB version for 1029 euros. According to him, the prices are based on leaked information from sellers.
If the prices are right, Huawei makes the P-series slightly more expensive than last year. The Huawei P20 then had a suggested retail price of 699 euros, the P20 Pro originally sold for 899 euros. The prices are reasonably in line with the competition. The entry-level model of Samsung, the Galaxy S10e, also costs 749 euros. The regular Galaxy S10 costs 899 euros.
According to sources, the Huawei P30 Pro has four cameras at the rear. New is a telescopic lens, with which you can zoom in considerably. Sources speak of 10x hybrid zoom, which means that even details from very far away are still sharp. The P30 Pro also gets a time-of-flight camera, which is used by, among others, augmented reality apps.
Price Huawei P30 Lite still unknown
Huawei also releases a cheaper Lite version every year. No suggested retail price is yet known for the P30 Lite. It is probably quite in line with the P20 Lite, which appeared in early 2018 for 349 euros. The P30 Lite has the same design as its big brothers and is also expected to have three cameras on the back. However, the hardware is a little less powerful. The P30 Lite would be equipped with the same Kirin 710 chipset that is also included in the Huawei P Smart (2019).
Huawei is organizing an event in Paris on 26 March where the full P30 series will be presented. Subsequently, the Huawei P30, P30 Pro and P30 Lite will probably be available in the United States from April.
