Apple plans to release two new iPads in the first half of 2019: the iPad mini 5 and an affordable 10-inch model. Much is not yet known about the upcoming tablets.
iPad mini 5 in 2019
The striking rumor comes from Macotakara, which relies on sources from Apple’s production chain. The company from Cupertino would be working on the iPad mini 5, which should ensure that the sale of iPads does not go any further. It would be a remarkable step from Apple, as the previous generation iPad mini was released more than three years ago and has since not been upgraded. However, the small tablet has been reduced in price a while later.
The iPad mini is still being sold but now has considerably outdated specifications. The device is equipped with the A8 chip, which was introduced in September 2014 with the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. According to earlier rumors, the new iPad mini gets a faster processor and a display that is cheaper for Apple to make. It is also logical that the camera is improved and the design (something) is adjusted.

In addition, Macotakara writes that Apple comes with a new entry model of the iPad. It would be a 10-inch iPad, which in turn should appear in two variants. This should be the successor of the iPad 2018, which was announced in March of this year. It has to become a new alternative to Apple ‘s iPad Pros, which are more advanced but also a lot more expensive than the’ normal ‘iPads.
