iPad Pro has a screen problem: the image is stuck or not responding

Apple itself has not yet issued a statement. In the meantime, some people report that their problem has been solved by reconnecting the Apple Pencil with their iPad Pro. A reset to the factory settings would also sometimes be successful.

It is not yet clear how extensive the problems are and what the cause is. Since it concerns both the 2017 and 2018 versions, there may be something wrong with the hardware. On the other hand, iOS 12.2, which was recently released, could also cause problems for some people with a new iPad Pro.
