Motorola has started the rollout of Android 8.1 update (Oreo) for the Motorola Moto G4 Plus, a device that was released in 2016. With this, the company makes a promise that was made a year and a half ago.

The Android Oreo update for the Moto G4 Plus has been delayed. The smartphone was released in 2016 with Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and would only get an update to Android Nougat.
