The announcement of Motorola’s new Moto G7 series will not take much longer. The company has planned an event for Thursday 7 February. The invitation has now been published online and shared by various websites, including PhoneArena. It would mean that we can see the new budget smartphones in just over two weeks.

Motorola, therefore, chooses not to present the phones during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The Moto G6 and Moto E5 series saw the light of day last April and were also unveiled in Brazil. It is unclear whether this time again the manufacturer announced a new Moto E series. Virtually nothing has leaked about these budget smartphones, while the necessary Moto G7 series is known.

What we know about the Moto G7 aircraft

Motorola will most likely be using four budget phones this year: the Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus, Moto G7 Play, and Moto G7 Power. The Moto G7 and G7 Plus have more powerful hardware and improved cameras, while the G7 Play is the absolute entry-level model. The Moto G7 Power must be distinguished by the enormous 5000 mAh battery. Recently the supposed prices of the phones appeared. It would be 249 euros for the regular Moto G7, 299 euros for the Moto G7 Plus, 149 euros for the Moto G7 Play and 199 euros for the G7 Power.

All devices have a large screen with thin edges and a notch, although the design differs. For example, the Moto G7 and G7 Plus have a larger screen with a small, waterdrop-like notch. The G7 Play and G7 Power have a larger notch and less powerful hardware. The smartphones probably run on a virtually bare version of Android 9.0 (Pie)  with minimal adjustments from Motorola.
