The Nokia 9 Pure View has just been officially announced. The flagship has a fifth camera on the back and is available from March.

The Nokia 9 Pure View was announced at a special presentation in Barcelona on the eve of the Mobile World Congress. These are the main specifications of the Nokia 8 Sirocco successor:
- Five-double camera (all 12 megapixels) on the back, 20-megapixel selfie camera

- Running on Android 9.0 (Pie)
- Snapdragon 845 chip with 6GB RAM, 128GB storage

Five-double camera for optimal photos
The Nokia 9 official Pure View owes its name to the 5 cameras on the back. These sensors are placed as a kind of circle, together with the flash. Nokia has, as usual, collaborated with ZEISS, a well-known photography company. Each sensor makes its own photo, after which the results are combined in one image.
All five cameras have resolutions of 12 megapixels with apertures off / 1.8. Two of these sensors shoot images in color: the other three are monochrome. This allows you to shoot beautiful black/white images. The selfie camera has 20 megapixels and a flash.
In addition, thanks to the five cameras, the Nokia 9 Pure View captures up to ten times more light than usual. Moreover, you can shoot photos in RAW format and edit them directly thanks to the Adobe Lightroom app. This is installed on the flagship by default.
Waterproof and Snapdragon 845 chip
The Nokia 9 PureView has a 5.99 inch OLED screen with a housing that is only 8mm thick. The fingerprint scanner is located under the screen. In addition, thanks to the Gorilla Glass housing, it is protected against impact and fall damage. Thanks to the IP67 certificate, it is also waterproof.
Furthermore, it is controlled by the Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The Snapdragon chip can actually ‘only’ work with three cameras, but thanks to the cooperation with Light, which has made a camera with sixteen sensors, this has been boosted to five.
The Nokia 9 Pure View has a battery with a capacity of 3320 mAh. Unfortunately, a headphone jack is missing. On the other hand, he does have fast charging via the USB port. You can also charge the device wirelessly thanks to the Qi module.
