If the blue or gray OnePlus 7 Pro is too boring for you, the Chinese manufacturer has a third option for you from today. OnePlus comes with a ‘limited edition’ of the 7 Pro in the color ‘Almond’, which you can order from now on.
Almond OnePlus 7 Pro
The new color gives the OnePlus 7 Pro a golden glow, with the extendable front camera finished with real gold. The “Almond” OnePlus 7 Pro, you can pre-order starting today at Belsimpel. On June 25 the special edition of the smartphone is also for sale in the official web store of OnePlus. The variant costs 759 euros and that is slightly more expensive than the entry-level model of the 7 Pro (709 euros). The smartphone does have 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage space.
In the past, OnePlus has often released a special, limited versions of its smartphones. However, it is unclear how many copies of the Almond OnePlus 7 Pro have been made, making it difficult to say how long the version can be purchased. The specifications of the golden 7 Pro are identical to those of other versions: you get a Snapdragon 855 chip, triple camera, 4000 mAh with 30-watt fast charging and 6.64-inch screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz.

The combination of a Snapdragon 855 chip, a maximum of 12 GB of memory, a 90 Hz screen and also all kinds of adjustments to the software to put the speed at the center work out very well. A smartphone has never felt as smooth as the OnePlus 7 Pro.
“Speed above everything else” also means that some other parts get snowed under. In this more expensive price range, you have to excel in every area to beat the competition, and OnePlus is just not succeeding. The camera is better but not the best, the battery life is good but not great, and carelessness like bugs also irritates the automatic brightness. If you want absolute speed, the OnePlus 7 is convincingly the best choice.
