“This is the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Pro, with four cameras on the back”

Samsung is releasing at least two variants of the Galaxy Note 10 this year. That suggests leaked renders of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Pro renders.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Pro will be a more expensive variant of the flagship, equipped with extra cameras. This is evident from various images of the device that PriceBaba has shared. The renders are not from Samsung itself but are based on information that the usually reliable telecom insurer OnLeaks has obtained.

According to the source, the Galaxy Note 10 Pro has a 6.7 inch OLED screen that fills almost the entire front. At the top of the image is a camera hole for a single selfie camera. The screen continues in the edges. The S Pen is stored at the bottom, but a headphone connection seems to be missing.

Samsung refused to scrap the headphone connection on its most important phones in recent years but is now tackling it. The port is also missing on many other Android smartphones, such as the  Google Pixel 3, OnePlus 7 Pro and Huawei P30 Pro.

Four cameras on the back

There are four camera lenses on the back. It is still unclear what kind of lenses it is, but the smaller lens is probably a Time of Flight sensor. They can quickly and accurately measure the distance to objects around you. Such a ToF sensor is used for augmented reality apps, for example, or to add a bokeh effect to portrait photos.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Pro is, according to the source, 162.3 by 77.4 by 7.9 millimeters in size. That would make it almost the same size as the Galaxy Note 9. Although that device has a smaller screen, the smaller edges of the Note 10 Pro ensure that Samsung can cram a larger image in the same format housing.

Unveiling in August?

Earlier this week, the source already shared photos of the ‘regular’ Galaxy Note 10. It has almost the same design, but with a slightly smaller 6.3-inch screen and ‘only’ three cameras at the rear. It is still unclear whether Samsung will introduce two or three devices in the Note series this year. Some sources speak of a Galaxy Note 10 Lite, similar to the Samsung S10e that appeared earlier this year.

New devices in the Galaxy Note series are usually presented in August. Although there is no release date for the Note 10 Pro yet, it seems likely that Samsung will release more details in two months.
