The Huawei Y7 (2019) is from today suddenly available in the Netherlands. This budget smartphone is actually not yet announced by the Chinese manufacturer but is already available immediately.
Huawei Y7 (2019) official: already for sale
Although Huawei has not officially recognized the existence of the smartphone, the Huawei Y7 (2019) is already available from Conrad. The webshop says it can deliver from next week at a price of 215 euros including VAT. The device is available in three colors: blue, black and coral red.
The Huawei Y7 (2019) despite its relatively low recommended price yet equipped with some notable features. The device has a double camera on the back, a fingerprint scanner and a 6.3-inch screen that fills almost the entire front. At the top of the picture is a small notch, which exactly fits the selfie camera of 8 megapixels. The most important specifications are as follows:
- 3-inch screen with a resolution of 1528 by 720 pixels
- 13 + 2-megapixel camera on the back
- Snapdragon 450 chipset with 3GB RAM
- 32GB of storage space, expandable with a memory card
- Battery capacity: 4000 mAh
It is still unknown on which version of Android the Y7 (2019) exactly runs. We have made inquiries with Huawei Nederland, but have not yet received a response. Virtually all smartphones that the company has released in recent months are running on Android Pie, so it is likely that this budget device will also be equipped with the latest software.
In the Y series are the cheapest cheap smartphones Huawei, usually with suggested retail prices of under 200 euros. This successor to the Huawei Y7 (2018) offers a larger screen, slightly smoother hardware and improved cameras. With its relatively low list price, the smartphone is just a bit cheaper than the recently released Huawei P Smart (2019).

At the end of this month, Huawei is organizing an event in Paris where it presents its latest top device. On March 26 the Huawei P30, P30 Pro and P30 Lite will be unveiled. The three new smartphones are then likely to be available from April.
