Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Android Pie update
Several Android Planet readers say that the Android 9.0 (Pie) update for the Note 9 is available in the united states from today. The update is rolled out to everyone and you will automatically receive a notification if you can update your Galaxy Note 9 to the new version. You can check manually by going to ‘Settings’ on your phone and choosing ‘Software update’. Then you can check whether the update can be downloaded.
Android Pie introduces Samsung’s new One UI skin, which features many improvements. The security update of January 2019 is also included in the update, which was released by Google earlier this month. The update is 1.55GB in size and it is, therefore, useful to download it via a Wi-Fi connection, otherwise, you might easily go through your data bundle. Have you already received the update? New in Android 9.0 (Pie) and One UI
With Android 9.0 (Pie) and the One UI interface, the Note 9 is equipped with the latest software. The update adds, among other things, a night mode that gives the display warmer colors in the evening, which is more comfortable for your eyes. Earlier, Samsung already released an Android Pie update for the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus. Many more devices from the manufacturer will be updated in the coming months. The Galaxy Note 8, S8 and S8 Plus get Pie according to Samsung in March.

The software is also optimized for large smartphone screens and makes it easy to operate apps with one hand. For example, if you have a chat or call app such as WhatsApp open and you want to search for a contact, the typing window appears at the bottom of the screen so that you can enter a name directly.
